Crash XS/Huge Adventure: 101% - Quick Guide

Quick little route guide for all to enjoy... for Crash XS/Huge Adventure it's best to go in order, creating your own route actually slows you down when you're selecting levels.
Additionally all Gold relic times are shown for time trials.

For Flight time trials fly into the clock and the boxes. DO NOT SHOOT THE BOXES!

Jungle Jam - Crystal/Gem

**Dingodile** - **Get behind Dingodile**, if you're in front of him he will pause and shoot. If you have 2 Aku masks abuse them making the fight faster. Always have a mask to abuse for the last hit.

Sunken City - Crystal/Gem/Gem is when you hit the steel ! swim back to the start of the level and trigger the TNT.

**Tiny Tiger** - Avoid All 5 Jumps (not including rest)

Star to Finish - Crystal/Gem/Gem is below the nitro ! near the end of the level.

Drip, Drip, Drip - Crystal/Gem
Final Countdown - Crystal / Gem Do not lose your Aku mask in order to abuses at a line of Nitros to collect a single box. There's also a troll nitro ! at the end of the Bonus you need to collect. / Gem is at a checkpoint facing a wall of nitro hit the spinner and go left.
**Neo Cortex** - Do the Green one last

Ace of Space - Gem/Gem go down when you see the trial of wumpa hit the steel ! go back up and after you see 3 nitros side by side, drop down after you see the random box. Alternately you can jump down when you see 3 nitros take the chance to lose the mask because you're doing time trial next.
Down the Hole - 1:23:40
Blimp Bonanza - 2:44:90

Ruined - 2:38:80/Gem is at the nitro ! jump ontop of it and double jump tornado spin over to the steel platforms then finish the time trial for it
Just Hangin' - 1:43:00
Just Hangin' - Gem/Gem after the platform to return to warp room jump right and land on the gem platform.
Rocket Racket - 2:17:50
Snow Crash - 1:36:70
Snow Crash - Gem is at the start of the level jump on the penguin to get up.

Temple of Boom - Gem it's once you see an aku mask with 5 different boxes go down and follow the path. The clear gem is right do not go up higher until you get the gem
Frostbite Cavern - 1:17:10
Just in Slime - 1:15:60 grab an aku mask to abuse

**Neo Cortex** - Whatever order you like
**MegaMix** - Do what's normally required for you to do, when you are running and see the jumping stuff you have to do the first two jumps and run down, abuse the mask and jump back up before reaching 3 nitros that are together creating a backwards L shape.

Simple route, just go in level order and you'll be fine then fight each boss.


Boss Rundown:

**Dingodile** - **Get behind Dingodile**, if you're in front of him he will pause and shoot. If you have 2 Aku masks abuse them making the fight faster. Always have a mask to abuse for the last hit. 

**N.Gin** - 13 Top | 12 both sides | 8 Bottom 

**Tiny Tiger** - Avoid All 5 Jumps (not including rest)

**Neo Cortex** - Do the Green one last.

Language Speed Differences

While gameplay remains untouched between versions (as far as we know), the choice of language can have a minor(!) impact on the speed of your run. In this game cutscenes can only be skipped once all of the text of the first textbox has appeared on screen. Different languages display the text in different speed, allowing you to skip a cutscene slightly sooner or later. Here is an overview of how many *frames* it takes for each cutscene to be skippable in ever language (counted from the first frame where text appearsto the last frame when new text shows up):

As you can see, Italian is the fastest language all around, giving the player the potential to save up to 13 frames (~0.4 seconds) over an English Any% run and up to 19 frames (~0.6 seconds) over an English 101% run. Of course that's not very notable at all (and whether someone actually manages to cash in the time save is very questionable) but I wanted to keep the info in here for completion's sake.

The bottom line is that Italian and German are technically fastest for Any%, Italian is fastest on 101%, English is the slowest language on a European cartridge by a (relatively) notable margin, and Japanese is ironically by far the slowest version losing ACTUAL seconds.
