Hello everyone,
Does anyone saw differences since the 1.3.0 came out that could affect the way we speedrun this game?
For now, all i saw is that you cannot interact with the flags if a dialogues occurs, so it forces you to level up your character from flags without dialogues to not waste time. For exemple, the flag before Lampmaster is blocked a few seconds because of Esquie's voiceline, so it's not a valid option to upgrade your characters.
i'm curious if any of you had found other things and if the Any% categories suffers from some bugfixes.
I have not been able to wrong warp with flags specifically, curator skip works with the manor door, but I'm not sure about the esquie wrong warp and others. For old lumiere I found another way to skip by going out of bounds. Maybe there's a better way.
Well, when i do the Monoco skip now, my team doesn't split anymore in the Old Lumiere ... if anyone have an idea i take it ... I also did it with monoco in my team with ur OOB but after that i couldn't change or upgrade maelle stats, weapons and abilities ... how can we speedrun without making restricted glitch or OOB ?
It means that in the Old lumiere monoco did not explode the wall if i do his skip , so the team doen't split so im stuck at the old lumiere without no possibilities to continue.
I tried it 3 run and 3 times the wall did not explode uhuhu
When you are skipping monoco station the thing is to skip old lumiere also and not fighting renoir at all, ill assume the fact that monoco isnt there is the reason why the wall doesnt explode and i dont really understand the question "how can we speedrun without making restricted glitch or OOB ?"
Yes you can't interact with Maelle afterwards but she will still be in your team, it will always be the first person to fight. I adapted my run to that. You get control of Maelle after Epilogue. so Final fight is still okay
Well so the monoco glitch is not possible atm ? So we have to properly play with the oob on old lumiere and not maxing maelle stats etc but i guess its fine !
Well im gonna try it too ahah, anyway we dont need maelle until epilogue with lune solo fighter ahah

With current patch, warping with flag is a dead glitch yeah, you can warp by using the one from act 3
