I have been wondering if i should use PC, DS/3DS/2DS, or mobile to do this speedrun, which one is better to use?

Pc because it’s easier for most and it’s faster.

A lot of people are using emulator because they don't have the game, but I don't know which is faster

using a smartphone with a stylus is nice

I like console speedrunning because it's the most faithful and doesn't lag at all. I'd consider console to be the main platform you'd want to use for speedrunning in every game

I use MelonDS on PC with my Wacom tablet set on mouse mode since I don't have a 3DS capture card, and as far as I know, the only way of recording the New 3DS without a capture card does not work when the 3DS is in DS mode.

I use the mobile emulator, DraStic, feels pretty accurate to the DS control wise for more precise touching. Yet each has good strength and weaknesses. So use the one that works best for you.

i just relize if you have a drawing tablet you can use the stylus to play emu in pc

Running on an original hardware will always be better than an emulator, if it is possible for you (For any game, not just this one). Though you are free to run the game on whatever you like as long as you follow the category rules.

Try to get a computer its what im trying to get

@Linny536 all versions, including emulator, run at the exact same speed. console may eve be faster
