I'm sure this is common knowledge by now, but water fountains, despite what I previously thought, can be used more than once. They refresh after riding a train out of and back into the area. I didn't know this until midway through my run today.

Yep, they're reusable. On the subject of your run, I noticed that you checked the wrong worker in the first area of the factory for lazy guard, and then got kicked out in the final area. Really sucks to see someone lose that much time from the factory, so here's the guy you should talk to for future runs:

Oh yeah your second time went really well. As a bit of advice so that you never need to worry about missing Robot King, I'd advise inspecting his resident hole (but not actually looking in to it) after he comes out to stop time from flowing. He'll eventually run straight for you, at which point you can just wait for him to Viva and close the inspect/don't inspect text when he does. Sadly this can't be done with Box Man and Daniel, but at least it makes Robot King 100% consistent.
