I think the only way to get an item with Z at the start is to get a zombie head, which needs a charged creeper and therefore needs thunder, so this run would have a LOT of RNG

Nah, then it's just jumping simulator. The actual good category here is max-fall% - fall directly from height limit to bedrock
Plus you can add in an mlg for swag - that could be part of it ie. you have to survive for it to be a valid run

He was cheating at a time before new hypermodern strats came into fashion, that greatly reduce the reliance on good trades. The run is also more skill-based now, in my opinion. (It very much was skill-based before that anyway, to be clear, as well as very luck-based - but now I think there's a higher skill ceiling, eg. knowing good bastion routes.)

We've discussed this before on the discord. I'm currently trying to complete a run so that we can get it on the leaderboards (will need someone else to do this too!) and I'm planning to use bastions (I'm doing ssg so I know where they'll be). The other strat we talked about is that there are some seeds that are glitched so that there are infinite abandoned mineshafts, so you could just run through them looting them for iron, gold diamonds.

Could you reduce the quality of the video? Like, reduce resolution, or compress the audio if you recorded that. Then the file will be smaller and you can maybe upload it
