How do you practice?
You can turn on debug mode in the settings folder. That will allow you to load up any room in a chapter and reload it over and over. There is a quick guide on how to turn it on in this FAQ from the celeste discord. https://pastebin.com/sjDaEiGj

or you could select the portion of the level that the room is in, get to it, practice the room and each time you reach the end of it, die and reload the room. i guess...
