I've been grinding ILs and I'm planning to start submitting runs soon. The in-game music gets repetitive and I get sick of it restarting every time I reset. Would there be an issue if I played my own music, and it came through on the recording? I could always play music from another source, like my phone, but I like to be able to hear in-game sounds as well.
according to the rules - It’s recommended to have clearly audible game music and sounds in your video proof.
But, there are plenty of IL runners that don't follow this recommendation and there hasn't been an issue (that I am aware of). If you could mute the game music but leave sound effects on that's probably more acceptable than muting the game altogether. Good luck with runs.
