Sorry if this has been asked before.
Looking into starting speedrunning this amazing game, its just I use a mouse to play. Since i started, I rebound dash to Left Click, and grab/climb to Right Click (yeah i know im weird).
The rules say an external software is allowed for Key Mapping, but I am unsure if the leniency is extended towards a mouse
Any help appreciated
We discussed it with the team and we think it's fine to use an external program to rebind mouse buttons. The one exception that you didn't ask for but we have to mention to this is the scroll wheel. We won't allow the use of the scroll wheel as it would allow for an unfair advantage compared to people using normal controls.
With the recent discovery of a viable method to skip the cassette in the Core A-Side, we are announcing some changes to the 8A boards:
