Gate Quirks

So, I've been running this game recently and I have discovered some quirks in the hit-boxes of certain gates that I feel should be known about.

#1 - I've discovered that most (if not all) gates can be activated by touching the top of the gate or by flying just slightly over it. I've tried to avoid using this during my own runs but I'm sure it can be used to make some better times in certain levels.

#2 - The level Shmoe vs. Volcano can be completely broken due to it's placement of gates. The level only has two which are separated by a lava stream but you can very easily flick over the stream. Violets the easiest to perform this with so practice with her before using the faster characters to gain time.

#3 - Temple of Boom's final checkpoint has bad hit detection on the PS4 HD re-release. If you hit the gate on the left-hand side, you clip through the check zone and the checkpoint won't count so, just to be safe, stick to the right hand side when attempting a run on this level.
