Are we allowed to use a ODE (Optical Drive Emulator) for our runs? I'm just curious because with the rising concern about disk rot and the rising price for English copies, using an ODE would allow us to preserve our copies and open the runs to more people who would be interested in running the game.

As of right now they're not. Timing methods would either need to be adapted, or the community would need to agree on allowing them.
