Why did I get into speedrunning? Because I wanted to speedrun the games I wanted to play before growing up. I used flash speedrunning as a way to help me become more confident in myself, and in my abilities. I wanted success, and I wanted to pass it down eventually to the next batch of people wanting to take the throne. I get it, I was disliked. I wasn't anything anybody would expect a person to be, but that's okay, but people should understand that as long as there's no genuine harm, mistakes are okay in my book. I don't understand this meta of hypocrisy, and progressiveness, I really don't but all I wanted was to be somebody, I am that somebody right now, but all I have been throughout the years been shoved away, some of my problems would have been fixed if there would have been better updated applications for Mac users who are into speedrunning games. I no longer use a Mac anymore, so I don't have to carry that burden anymore, but I do think somebody out there would have made a functioning Mac supported speedrun timer. (moreso, better Mac representation in the community.)
I left Bloons TD2 because MrJocrafter fits the title worthy of a hypocrite, who has not but no life, but nobody. I say this because they simply because of the mental trauma and self entitlement they and a couple of people have brought onto me. I have completely moved on from who I was a few weeks, months, even years ago from who I was, but it just insists on staying, I have no reason to come back? I have had nobody there for me for a extended period of time, and just now, away from this wasteland community, do I have that privilege, I have had bad experiences with this dog water community, and wish nobody else the same.

Your thread doesn't even say why you left BTD2, so I have no idea. What did MrJocrafter do that caused you mental trauma?

For speedrunning you don't really need a timer, I used to run on linux and just used some shitty stopwatch application, but timing is done with video frames anyways.

Your post seems pretty dramatic to me, but if you want to speedrun BTD2 and you don't like the mods on speedrun.com, just run it yourself and if you get a record you will be recognized as the king of balloon popping for whatever that's worth.

I'm not following any of this, like at all. What's this about? Did someone do something? And how does playing on mac factor into this? Is there any context to any of this??

hey man we all got into speedruning games for simlar reasons and sure you belive this commuinity is a wasteland but take it from me the actual Wastelandwalker.

life is like a shitty roleplaying game where your actions effect a wide amount of poeple and due to us being speedrunners,streamers and content creators we make a difference in a wider group. like sure it may seem like you dont have a following but in reality you do and sure this one community isnt right for you but never ever toss away your skills as a speedrunner because there are many many commuintys that will accept you and help you improve not only as a speedrunner but also as a commuinty member because like i said before it may seem like you dont have a following but theres always people that will tune into your streams and not say anything the entire time because they dont wanna distrub you while your running a game and on top of that they wanna know what you have to say about the games,life,etc. SO NEVER think your not good enough because in realty we speedrunners help alot of people with depression just because we speak our minds and we can make people smile and i know this because for the longest time i was that person and speedrunners like you and everyone else in the commiunty (yes even the cheaters because their runs are so fake they are funny) made me who i am today and before you do anything drastic like remove your runs,channel,etc. I just wanna say thank you but dont go back into the darkness bud theres thousands of games to speedrun and if your not happy with a commuinty do what i did and find a game thats not on the site and speedrun that and within 12 hours of requesting it you set up the page and tahdah your the modirator and you can promote the game all you want and make a commuinty. So please keep that in mind bud and please dont stop

A lot of people have pushed me away from the things ive enjoyed, at first it was because I used a Mac, there are a lot of limitations Mac users had, and one of the notable ones being that not a lot of things are compatible with Mac, I couldn't use Livesplits "why couldn't you use wine?" It would constantly crash and completely slow down my Mac forcing me to hard restart, same would go for Llanfair, and the only one I found that actually worked, but I just had a distaste for speedrunning up to that point.

I simply left BTD2 because I didn't want to associate myself with a person who'd actively try to harass me in any capacity.

I have genuinely put the time to change the person who I was, you have no say in what is right for me, or what's best, considering your childish behavior. You alongside your petty friends have actively harassed me, also, you've brought me to nearly pulling it out, I wish to not be involved with you for my sake, I despise people like you, for how you've acted towards me, also the fact that nobody in these past few years have tried to help me with my poor mental health, nobody, but that's mainly my fault, because I have never talked to anyone about it.
