Timing rules say to start the timer when the round starts OR when you select a tower, that's why I don't just upgrade the towers before I start my run, so could that be clarified? New WR for glitched upgrades the tower before starting the timer, which is against the rules. For example, for BTD2 the rules say that timing starts when selecting round start, so it's legal to upgrade before you start the run, and I do that.

No wonder i didn't notice that, it's a terrible rule!

yeah like I'd be down if it was just changed to be like the rest of the BTD games, or have the rules actually clarified, as 2 runs follow the rule and 3 don't
