Basic Guide Any%
Updated 3 years ago by Skyvask

This guide is here to help people who wish to start this speedrun and will also cover more advanced strategy.

The game is pretty straight forward, just a basic platform game, with no enemies to fight, just some spiky bushes, porcupine, bees and some falling rocks can damage you.

A level is always with a few exceptions composed of 3 parts, in which part you can collect totems, green, red and yellow, in order. The green totems are necessary in order to follow the main path of the game, the reds can unlock secondary paths and the yellow are useless in the any% category since they only unlock some bonuses level. Some level like the mammoth ride and the chase level don't have any totems in it, and are only in one part.

Note : after a level is completed, the game will advance your character on the level map automatically, if the main path (green totems) is unlock you will go there. So if you're planning to use the secondary path, you would need to move back on the map. You can avoid this by not taking all of the greens totems, your character will go to the secondary path straight away if unlocked.

Level order strategy : This is currently the best known level order for any% with the necessary totems : -Snow forest 1 (collect green totems) -Snow forest 2 (collect green totems) -Snow forest 3 (collect red totems) -Mammoth ride -Snow forest chase -Ice cave 1 (collect green totems) -Ice cave 2 (collect reds totems) -Mammoth ride -Valley of fire 2 (collect green totems) -Valley of fire 3 (collect reds totems) -Mammoth ride -Valley of fire chase -The mountain 1 (collect reds totems) -The mountain 3 (collect green totems) -The mountain 4 (collect green totems) -The mountain chase

Advanced strategy : In this game there are some wood logs where you need to balance on them, your character is pretty slow on them so if you can avoid them by double jumping over them it's great. But sometimes there are too long for a simple double jump so here is the trick : Doing a simple jump allow you to do another jump, if doing your second jump at the right frame when you just hit the log, it won't trigger the double jump mechanic allowing you to do a normal jump again. This mechanics can be used several times on a single log. This can be really time saving in the long term, but is a risky strategy.

Final note : English is not my first language so there are probably some grammar errors. I'm writing a speedrun guide for a game no one is speedrunning so ? =)
