Im a big fan or this game played since it came out up until 2013 which is when the ps3 online started to die just started gettin into running games was just wondering how am i going to speed run the game if i got the bundle with the time saver pack ?
Can you use a different user profile to create a new save game in order to start from the beginning of the game?
Nice :D the Burnout runnig cmmunity is groing up :D I think that it doesn't matter if you have the time saver pack as long as you only use the cars that you are unlocking through the run.
@SOADassassin It does matter, whenever you upgrade your licence you have an unskippable cut-scene unlocking cars in the junkyard which takes up a bunch of time as it even includes 2 bike unlocks.
I have no clue how to undownload the time savers pack but at the start of my run ill include the time with all the dlc cars loading in the junkyard in case they don't load in later
If you use a different PSN account (It's free right?) it should realise "hey, this account doesn't have any DLC" so makes you start a new save. If it doesn't, you can always go into your save games folder and delete your burnout save. If you don't want to lose your save, copy it to a USB.
It's not just the time in the junkyard either, when discovering events for the first time, the game can behave really strange and not allow you to start the event, so you have to drive around a little to find the perfect spot to trigger it to start, with the events unlocked, you would be able to start events much quicker and easier which would be very difficult to calculate time lost/gained throughout a 2.5 hour run.
Thinking about it, if you have all the cars/licences unlocked it might be actually impossible for you to follow the route with the basic car as doesn't the game scale it's difficulty based on your licence, so you would have to race the Cavalry vs Burnout Licence cars which just won't work? (Well maybe, the AI is pretty bad at racing).
But yeah, basically you pretty much have to start from a fresh save state.
Just found out how to do it I have to go to Game Data Utility find burnout and delete it. This deletes my ad-ons but if I want them again I can just redownload them from the PSN Store in store history. Thanks for helping me figure this out :P
