Restricted vs No-Restrictions Questions

Two quick Qs about No-Restriction runs:

  1. If I were to complete a run without breaking one of the restrictions, would it be placed in the restricted category, or would it be my choice? (Newbie here, so I’ve rather unclear on how that all works.)

  2. What does the ‘source requirement’ for the hearts and stamina mean? Is it just outlawing the use of the statue outside of Hateno Village, or is it something else?

I am going to start running in my free time because I’ve nothing else to do! Hopefully it’ll be a fun time! Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

For question 1: I think you would get to choose, as you would be following the no restriction rules.

For question 2, Idk.

Source requirement means that you have to get all of the things from their original source, hearts and stamina in this case. So no duping. Which also means you can only gain hearts by getting shrines or defeating the divine beasts.
