COOP 5+ Players

Hey so I figured out how to get more than 4 people in a single game of Borderlands 2, and I was wondering; what does this mean for COOP speedruns? As of this moment, I've only gotten 8 people to work super stable, but since I released my guide and posted on Reddit i've gained a lot of help. Maybe this will see the creation of a new category all together? Let me know what you think.

In my opinion, 5+ players shouldn't be more than a meme category, as much as I would like it to be real, just because it requires the use of Cheat Engine to work.

Actually, I'm working on a script to bypass that. I agree that cheat engine is unstable and can lead to a compromised run etc. so I'm working on patched to eliminate the requirement for cheat engine and to make the game more stable/balanced at 5+ players.

Sorry - that actually still doesn't change my answer. I don't believe it should be anything other than a miscellaneous category, much like running with the UCP or ChaoticTeams would be, because it requires an outside modification of the game. The only "modifications" any of us make normally is patching down to an earlier patch.

It would be a cool miscellaneous category, though.

Oh yeah I agree, I don't think it should be a full category, I was just saying that It's still a work in progress.

That should be funny to the say the least. Great work robeth. I think Abahbob started to do this modification a few years back but he didn't complete it.
