NTSC & PAL Differences

Norway

Hi just wandering is the PAL version different NTSC version in terms of glitches? (If there is even any differences) also is running the game on 360 worse or better than the first Xbox? Thanks :>

Kenya

All the skips work on PAL and there are no differences that I'm aware of. Also, original XBOX is faster than 360 although not by a lot.

England

I run on PAL, there aren't any noticeable differences to my knowledge.

Sweet thanks guys :3

Apart from the fact PAL runs at a lower framerate, yeah its the same.

United States

If PAL actually runs at a lower framerate then frame-perfect tricks may be more consistent on it.

PAL is 50 hertz, NTSC is 60. So yeah, frame perfect is 1/50 rather than 1/60.

Does that mean on pal spongeglides are way harder to be preformed? Idk why but i have a feeling the higher the hz the easier sponegglides are? Idk dont quote me

United States

its the other way around, frame windows are larger so that means frame tight tricks should be easier. 1/50th sec > 1/60th sec

England

Well I play on the PAL version and out of 21 hours of trying total I've managed to pull off 2 sponge glides, I can do every other trick in the game, I'm just going to assume i'm terrible and it's not a problem with the PAL version, pretty ready to give it up.

For some reason, SpongeGlide is really hard and inconsistent on the PAL version of every console. We've tested this out recently. I wouldn't even bother with spongeglide unless you have NTSC.

Just saying I practise sponeglide for hours on PS2 PAL and I did not ever get a "hovering spinglide' So I guess somethings up with that. And trust me i might be doing it wrong but its unlinkely from how many hours iv done and how many different angles and set ups...
