Hey! Im interested in running Bayonetta in PC but I dont know if it is allowed at all for the leaderboard. I know it has advantage on loading screens (it says so in the rules) but didnt understand if it was copletely banned.
Im planning on run it either way, but wanted to know if the runs would be legit for the leaderboard or not. Thanks <3
Yup runs on PC are allowed, there just aren't any yet since not many people are actively running this game currently.
Hello Breakout_i! Excuse me for not responding to you in reasonable time fashion, I log into srcom once a month lol (I wonder why XD).
To answer clearly to your questions, all versions of the game are accepted and I will specify it more precisely to get it clear for anyone in the future, that is also my bad since I am a newbie in those tasks and the only one monitoring and caring about this game for quite some time now.
About the loading times: I roughly evaluated them to a minimum of 9-10 minutes in an entire run (it also depends on your number of trips to the shop), on top of that you can have the option to get no frame lag at all, so yes this version is "the" version to run Bayonetta.
If you enjoy running the game don't hesitate to catch a stream of BeekLK, I try to hang out in chat during his runs, for the enjoyment and to give him my insight on the game, you'd learn a lot probably if you'd join us. PS: Some people don't care about the game, they are not playing it and aren't aware of what's going on around it, I wouldn't take anything for fact that comes out of them (about speedrunning Bayonetta in particular in this case), they basically have no legitimacy to represent the players nor rule anyone nor anything about this game (especially Flicky and others orbiting around him).
