Which emus/versions are used?

Hi. I like this game very much and I am planning to run this game.

I have it in my PSone but I don't have the video capture device at the moment so I thought I can try to run it on an emu first.

Which emu should I use given I run Linux? From what I understood it should be either Mednafen or BizHawk.

Hi Wagner Brasil. Whe ePSXe? I made two runs with Mednafen yesterday, it was ok I think. I've submitted them here.

Mednafen is a good emulator @recpie, but I don't know if it is allowed (only moderators can explain it, because it doesn't have any deeper rules related to emulation, only time). I just know that the emulator that most accepted community is "ePSXe" (some leaderboards specify their versions). Some accept Mednafen, Xebra, BizHawk. RetroArch (not every leaderboard accepts). psxfin and psxjin is not recommended.

Since no issues has been found with this game, you can use ePSXe, Mednafen and Xebra.

@WagnerBrasil I saw u used version 1.9.0... this version is "somehow" faster on some games, if you are going to do full run, feel free to submit it that I can check for loading times etc.

@CoopeZz what was the conclusion with ePSXe and loading times? When recording this https://www.speedrun.com/atle/run/y4weoodm I had to increase the delay compared to https://www.speedrun.com/atle/run/y655w50z

Does it mean that I need to switch to ePSXe for faster time?

You dont need to, I think that the loading is "nearly the same". Let's use same timming method for now. We can change this in future if needed :)
