Hi all,

I apologize for the delay this update took. Lots of balance changes were applied to BedWars and we are trying our best to balance the speedrun pages as well.

1. As for the new bed health, we have archived older runs from when the bed was a 10 hit. Newer categories were made as this affects everything.

2. Potions are not allowed to be used in speedruns.

3. Savanna, Tea Time and Candyland has been removed, thus they will be removed from the newer categories.

4. You may have a run that is for a map we don't have listed here. As the specific map you ran for has been removed we will remove it depending on the amount of runs on it.

5. Map Icons - will aim to work on them and add them to the category rules

Hopefully I did not forget anything and in case I have, I will leave it as a reply.

With frequent updates we are trying to update the boards to match the updates.

Dodo Birds will be added on the rules in the newer categories soon, they're not allowed.

I have re-thought this again and it looks like this will heavily affect Win categories. New categories may be made.

BedWars has been updated and one of the changes was the bed health buff. Now obviously this will change speedrunning but we'll act quick. I want your opinion on this.

Do you think we should:
1. Create 3 new categories for Solo Bed, Duo Bed and Squad Bed AND set the old three to Misc where they can never be ran ever again.
OR
2. Since breaking a bed takes 5 hits, we can end the time whenever the bed has taken 5 hits.

Personally I prefer the 2nd option but i'd love to hear your opinion on this.

This change will also affect Win categories as well.

Someone that ran telepearl in Park submitted it before you thus got verified before you.

Just a few little touches as I don't want to rush everything.

One of our moderators prefers to use SPRT but we use retime.mcbe.wtf. As long as it works, it works!

You don't use the in game times, so how does the retiming process work? Could you please give us the starting frames and the ending frames as well?

This game is the 4th most active game on SRC as of now (including unofficial releases) taking over Hypixel Bedwars. Of course we are not challenging someone but I do like how the community wants a discord server due to the massive activity in bedwars. I've changed my thoughts and I like the idea now. I will definitely go ahead and create one!

Yes, the rules will mostly affect any top 10 run and not all, we have a lot of runs to verify and can't keep up well.
We will look into the top 10 runs to match the new rules.

Yes, ofc.

It affects any run, you have to put the real username in there.

Youtube is the only requirement for speedruns, it doesn't hurt to upload to youtube. We have an accurate retiming tool only made for youtube.

It is allowed. It doesn't really give an unfair advantage apart from separating gaming PCs to bad PCs, which is not a situation most speedruns tend to look at. You will do better in your runs with more FPS however we will not go ahead and restrict that, after all we get more accurate speedruns.
