Seriously, from looking at this thread i start to feel like an evil tyrant-moderator oppressing the freedom of rebellious runners. I'm all for fair comparison and i would love to see a proper way to discount loading times — but going through each run frame by frame with a calculator doesn't seem like the right idea for me. In my opinion, just ignore any runs not on your platform. If the site shows all runs in the same table by default, then so it shall be.

I understand them but everyone should have the chance to the WR in the leaderboard no matter what platform only the long load time on any platform the no pc is prevented

There are two main problems with removal of loading times for the multi-platform categories.

A ) What constitutes 'loading' has not yet been defined, and would need to be defined for load removal possibilities (ex. Is going through a door 'loading'? Is doing a checkpoint restart from the menu considered 'loading'? Is wait for the ability to skip a loading cutscene 'loading?') This definition, while perhaps not difficult to make, would need to be agreed upon by at least a majority of the current speedrunning community (also those who would plan to submit load-less run times but do not currently have times submitted).

B ) How would these loading times be removed from runs? As Feanorus already mentioned, the only way to remove these loading times would be for every runner to record a local file, then manually count the frames that are from loading, then remove these from the final time. Then, to verify that the submitted runs aren't incorrect, a moderator would have to do the same thing to double check (considering there are still runs submitted often that can't get the real time correct, this is very possible to happen with something so precisely measured as frame-by-frame loading). This all is way easier said than done, since the runner + moderator would need to watch the entire run then stop the video and do the frame analysis when necessary.

B` ) This would need to be done with all PC runs as well, since PC still loses time to loading, just considerably less over the course of the run.

Considering this undertaking necessary to remove load times, we need to weigh this against the benefit it would serve this community. If we do this for the glitchless community, every run that has been submitted would need this same frame analysis and removal. In addition, the point about loading is moot at the time of this posting. because there are no submitted runs that lose placement due to loading times. If/once this happens (ex. Someone should have beaten the WR due to skill and execution, but doesn't because their loading times are longer than their timesave), then we may have this discussion again and consider defining loading times for removal.

Sgucolyoung has actually the WR because he played better but by the long loading time did not get in such a case they wanted to actually make an exception. Why do not they stand to their word?

I was under the impression they would make a console and a pc board once enough runs were active, not that load times would be deleted

An additional list for console Xbox and ps would be the best and fair solution. But so I and other console players have no desire batman run more .dar no fairness is given. The WR only by longer loading times is a joke

So you're asking that the mod goes through 2 hrs of video frame by frame and decide what's loading time and what's not for each and every single submission made from now til forever?

So I wanted it also console extra and pc extra but the mods do not want the glitchless bestlist up on a pc player would be empty since everyone else on console play

Now is a consoles (xbox 360, ps3, ps4 and xbox one) list made for the fairness of other games is the same synonymous. WHAT IS THE OTHER FOR A FAIRE BEST LIST. Where load times are better?
