It's cool to see how far the game has come, so I figured I'd share it with you.
Maybe make BLJ a non-obsoleting variable for 130 star. If there are major differences, make it a sub-category. 2 separate 130 star categories is strange to see.
Put all those empty misc categories into the IL chart. Also probably might be good to remove ZZMT variable. It's like having a "NSS" variable for Crash 2. It's just part of movement. Please make some changes, or recruit others who are willing to.
I discovered an Orbless strat, allowing us to hit the blue eco switch and get 2 extra cells from Forbidden Jungle.

When I told Toto/Zeplins about it, it was news to them. Finally found evidence of it in my sent mail from well over 3 years ago. Sick meme.
These mods are inactive. FearfulFerret hasn't been online in 3 months and YetiHype obviously doesn't check the forums. I haven't even played the game, I just like it. I'm not at all qualified. If any of you feel like you could implement the changes we've discussed in the forums and be a decent active moderator, please go to the site forums and request moderator for this game.
I've noticed people are still submitting times in the 5:2x range, and my times have started to come into question.
During my grind of this game, I had 4x 5:04s and one 5:03, which is the current record. I've also had 2x 5:05s, and at least one of each run per second going down the line through 5:15.
Arcree's latest pb's comment says "20 seconds?" which I interpret as him asking where he can save 20 more seconds in the run.
I've found more TINY timesavers than I could list all in one thread. If you ever want me to watch your run and point out where you're losing time, feel free to hit me up while I'm streaming. As long as I'm not in the middle of a run, I'll watch your pb on stream, explain a few mechanics, and send you back to the grind with more knowledge on the game.
Uncheck any box that says "obsolete" so we can see many different runs by the same runner who just uses different characters on different difficulties, it would be great.
Similar to "Recruit Gardevoir" in PMD B/R RT, we could have a category called "Defeat Darkrai" in this game.
After defeating Dialga, you are sent back to the guild to continue work. You are sent off to Sky Peak later on.
At some point around here you graduate from the guild and learn you are unable to evolve because of the disruption in space.
After exploring Sky Peak with Shaymin, Scizor goes missing. You rescue him from Froslass in Blizzard Island / Crevice Caves.
Next up is the Manaphy bit. You rescue an egg from a place Sunflora talks about, it hatches, you take care of the Manaphy (have Blue gummis ready!) and fight off Gyarados.
Then you explore Aegis Cave with some peppy exploration team, and have to get lucky with Unown drops/encounters to continue. Regigigas fight at the end of this dungeon.
Azurill is in a nightmare, and you have to go to Mt. Travail to bring Drowzee back.
Drowzee sends you into Azurill's nightmare. In the nightmare, you learn more about Palkia from "Cresselia". You are told to go to Spacial Rift.
Clueless as to how to get here (and Lapras doesn't even know) you and your partner don't do anything. That night, Palkia kidnaps you and brings you to Spacial Rift. You go through the dungeon and fight Palkia at the end, demanding answers.
Darkrai reveals himself as the Cresselia you've been talking to, and the entire story unfolds here. Darkrai demands you confront him at Dark Crater. You do so and defeat him. This is the true final boss of the game. You are given the option to save after the story comes to an end. Final time is checked here.

I feel like this is the type of category that should not exist on the boards, even as a misc category. It is not RTA and there's even one bigger reason to this.
Perhaps there could be a forum thread where the current run is shown, and improved from there as a community project as time goes on. Limiting single segment to one runner per video makes it more competitive instead of cooperative. I like what the portal community did when they came together and made really nice looking videos.

Perhaps we could speedrun a category that goes through Rayquaza, and then on through the end of everything that happens in the Story. I don't know if you all have played through that far (as a kid or even these days) but the entire story ends when you escort Gengar through Mt. Freeze and Murky Cave. He gives you a Mobile Scarf and then you can recruit Gardevoir in the pokemon square on the next day. The category could either be called "Recruit Gardevoir" because it specifically defines what the category requires. It could also be called "Full Story" as it completes everything necessary without doing extra dungeons (for icons and such). I will provide all requirements for this storyline to fold out below.
After Rayquaza: Talk to Medicham, Lombre, then Whiscash. Get Dive TM. Complete Stormy Sea.
Buried Relic is not required.
Obtain Surf TM from Solar Cave. Purchase Southern Island friend area (9500 poke). Complete Northern Range and Pitfall Valley.
Obtain "Sky Blue Plains" friend area (reward for bulletin-board quest). Next day, visit Whiscash. Ekans/Medicham will be talking. Next day, just Ekans is there. Next day, Ekans is at the bulletin board. He will give you the job to rescue Medicham from Wish Cave B20F.
After rescuing Medicham, Gengar will start his series of missions. When he confronts you at your base, he will ask for help. Escort him through Mt. Freeze to see Ninetales. Then escort him through Murky Cave.
Afterwards, he will grant you a mobile scarf and you will be able to recruit Gardevoir on the next day.
Not required in this run: Recruiting Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno or Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. Defeating Lugia, Ho-oh, Mew, Mewtwo, Kyogre, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys.
If I'm missing anything or I have anything wrong, let me know. This would be a nice category for post-game content rather than All Icons.

Alex recently approved a run that was played on emulator. Have rules changed?
Any ideas on where this would be useful?
I pressed triangle on the first frame of entering the water. As I bobbed back up I was transforming while doing so.
I think this works because you can use the muck monster ability at the surface of water, regardless of your vertical speed.
Peacock Purgatory through WereBear were all routed in this attempt.
