In my run I took the painting in Lake to Luncheon, where I fight Spewart. It's slightly faster because going from kingdom to kingdom by painting is faster than through the odyssey.

Something I didn't do when preparing my run was get the plaza checkpoint in luncheon. That's another way that makes luncheon faster than wooded, because getting to Spewart from the plaza is faster than jumping from the checkpoint in the sky garden.

Im not sure In all case, @SuperMarioGuy4 you doesnt have the entire final, so basicaly I doesnt know when start and when end exactly for you and for @GhostCode, basicaly because of that

Well even if the category request is a little bit old, I offer an idea of subcategory in addition to DarkSide and NoDarkSide, it would be Mecha and NoMecha

Mecha: Killing the mecha is compulsory NoMecha: Killing the mecha doesn't count over time It is quite logical ...

At least, NoMecha and NoDarkSide could be done at the start of game, in Cap Kingdom

The Mecha and the Nomecha subcategorird should be practicaly the same in the Darker Side one in except of that you doesnt have to finish it at the final, but in the rest doesnt change But, well, in the No Darker Side one, you have to change, cause Bowser Ey, so realy its nice the idea! :D
