I think HUB% is "just a short Package%", so I don't think you should add a category. Package% is also a "short 2 Package%", but the strategies for achieving it faster are clearly different.
In order to add a category, I think you need one of the following elements. ・ Different play feeling ・ Different strategies ・ Different purposes I don't think HUB% is enough to meet that.
I think it's worth registering as a category, such as All HardDrive%, which is being discussed on Speedrun Discord server.

For a category to be added, start running it and get more people to run it also. I don’t think there is a push to add more categories at the moment due to the numbers running all the current packages. I would recommend, complete the run and put up your time in the Discord server and see who else might be interested in running it. I personally would not see it as a multiplayer run as it could prob be a very short run for even a single player. Again jump on the discord and put up your PB for it and see who joins in.
Like toraoji and DCD said, it's hard to justify adding a new category when we have so few players, because it runs the risk of discouraging competition if everyone has their own category.
THAT BEING SAID! I understand that 30 minutes is a lot of time for a single run, and would still love to see what you can come up with! We recently added a personal bests channel to the discord, which is a great place to post runs that you're proud of, even if they don't have a category on this site. For example, I just put my best time for a no-dismantle Package% run up there and I'm starting to do other novelty runs, which I would like to share. Even if we don't make a category here, I'd love for you to post your bests there! If it starts to draw other people into doing HUB% that would also serve as a great justification for making a new category.
I agree with the previous responses. As a shorter category i once thought of adding Box% (as a parody of steelaxe%) which would be more like a ~10-15 minute run instead of ~20-30. An alternate speedrun type could be to research stuff in the MAM. Purple Power Slug research% could be a thing. Skip intro could also be added. Let me know what y'all think. I'd also love to see blindfolded runs btw. Kappa.
