After 300 hours it finally happened.

This run wasn't the best run I've ever done. I've had runs on better pace that died to silly mistakes in the end game, and for the first half of the run it is definitely improvable. Saying that, I am very happy with the time I have been able to get here. You go back to the first run I uploaded, done hours after a casual playthrough, at over 2:30hours. Then, I saw 1:25 as the best time I could get

I beat that, thanks to edge boosting and lots of skips being discovered.

Even then, I saw 1:10 as the limit, yet here we are. And it could easily be possible, especially when you see the stupid timeloss in chapter 14. The time can go lower, but I'm happy with this for now. From nothing, I've been able to optimise the game to this state, and I am very happy with that. And for now, I'm going to take a break from this, to focus on Yoshi's Island and possibly Ratchet & Clank, but this run I will be submitting to ESA. I'll come back to the game in a few months if I get in, and regardless, I may come back to route All Medals, though I am undecided with this
