I know this is a well known thing, but I haven't seen a guide or forum post about it and just figured I'd make a video demonstrating it a few times for those who don't know the timing or the method. As soon as you exit inventory, let go of knife button, tap a weapon to switch to then immediately go back to knifing.
If you only have 1 weapon, as you would in G2 as leon, equip the knife, and unequip the handgun in the same inventory, in that order.
Just saying i literally think by the time I get a pc mid year orchlon trance or xeriansr will have like sub 53 so if I even think about running this game if my pc can reach 120fps then im gonna speedrun for the fun of it aka actually being able to beat bosses with the knife and not try to get even close to the wr because in hind sight for someone like me trying to get a time like that would be near impossible
