No one has said that it is not legit, but why want you switch FPS between segments ?

I have spent hours practicing the centipede fight on variable FPS and have never gotten a good fight. I tried the fight last night on 60fps for like an hour and got nothing but good fights. It seems the centipede will raise its body and shake Rebecca a lot more on 60 than variable. I'm curious to see if there is a big difference on the bat between variable and 60. Thanks for the quick response Yami. I'll be re doing my centipede segment.

I have already tried everything with the bat fight : 30/60/120 FPS, 4/3/16/9 screen ratio, or from worst to best resolution, absolutely no differrence. I never tried to manipulate centiped paterns because I got good enough RNG. I have maybe a hint for you against centiped, maybe you didn't know. You can't die with their lateral legs, it let you the 1 HP, juste be carefull with his mouth or front and back claws. Hope that will help you a bit.

Unrelated to FPS, but if anyone can figure out how this works on HD (or if it is possible), would make the Bat fight far easier.

That was done on GameCube, it seems that there is a different behavior with the bat, also, this is in easy mode I think, we need at least 35 hits to kill him on normal. This is not a glitch, just a giant luck, that look like at the any% strat with the grenade.

I have had stuff similar to happen to me on PS4 too, although not to that kind of ridiculous scale of keeping it locked for the entire fight.
