Some new things i experimented with:

-Got Antler from Chapter 1 so i could get Orb Absorb plus a few tai chips early -Used leftover spread kunais from chapter 6 instead of multi shuris for puppet hoard in chapter 9 and it really payed off.

Thinking of a big reroute with old skill plate from 2020 since it's still kind of worked out for me, but finding more items for money earlier on is the main issue.
