In a large number of the levels, there are fall damage clips that can be done. To list all of them is blue a, blue b, there are 2 in blue c, light blue b, yellow a, yellow b (despite never being used because of inconsistency), yellow c, orange a, orange b, brown c, and 5 total in dark a, only 2 used. All of these should have the debug menu open while doing them for maximum consistency For blue a, the easiest and most consistent way is to follow the left rail down, then go back up against it, holding -7, -7 on input direction. At an arbitrary time, start pulling down. Blue B has 2 ways of doing the same trick. The first is the yolo method, where you fly off the ledge and hope. The second was discovered by me for all chapters. When the timer starts, first, go into the top left corner until completely stopped. Then, push joystick straight down and quickly shift it to an input direction of -0.9, -0.3. After that, hope you did it right and it should work.
