Was wondering why they set the name minimum to 4 character ? ( I know there's also a maximum amount but it makes more sense to have a max than a minimum imo )

What is the point of this? What did it achieve besides taking away user choice and making my account more exclusive? What if my name is Aad and I want the username "Aad"?

I can understand removing special characters that mess with html stuff, but yeah, I don’t see what the problem was with having short names.

Short name souldn't be an issue, btw they allow 20 character max where almost all sites is around 10/15/16/ chars, weird.

there was a account called ava on src that had 0 activity and then all the sudden a month before the name was available they changed it
