What's up, Runners~!

My name is WulfricValerius (you probably read that already, but nevermind ^^;;) and I have never tried Speedrunning before~ =p (Well, that's kind of a lie; I did the speedruns in Diablo 3 for the achievements in game lol, but I don't think that really counts ^///^;)

But, yes, I am a COMPLETE greenhorn. In fact, I haven't even have a 'horn' to call green yet... =p

I'm in the process of eliminating down my list of fave games to potentially run, and figuring out the kind of challenges I'm happy to face down without getting too disheartened when I [inevitably] flunk over and over during the practice stages hehe.

I already have an affiliate channel over at Twitch [twitch.tv/WulfricValerius], and before I lost my desk space, I ran my casual gaming stream 'Geek and Potato Soup', where I did First-plays and regular game streams. I will have my new office/studio set back up soon where I can get back up and running. My most recent stream was a 24hr gaming marathon for charity (Macmillan Cancer Support) with a few friends in my lounge :) Managed to raise a humble £150 through that, but hope to get more next time~! Once I get into speedruns, I'm eager to create a second 'programme' on my channel for those :)

I play a number of different game types, from the RPGs, to co-op shooters, platformers, puzzle, card, action, horror, MMO, and well, I play a wide variety, and am always open to trying new suggestions~! :D

More real-world info, I'm from London, UK, and would love to meet some local runners some time to maybe get some tips and/or train together :)

I hope to get to know you guys a bit more here, and look forward to running for the first time~! I'm excited to get started~!

I’m looking at some quick and simple ones to ease me in first, like Stanley Parable etc, just to find my feet as it were. BUT I have a wealth of RPGs here in my collection to get my teeth into, so I’ll be flicking about to see how many people have strats for to start with, and if I have any more obscure ones, perhaps I can route them myself once I’ve got some proper experience :)

Side note; any RPGs you would recommend, buddy? :) Either for a newbie like myself, or maybe for later once I’m a bit more seasoned hehe~~ ?

I’ll be sticking to PC games for now until I can afford me a capture card, and then I have plenty of home consoles to pick from :D
