This may be a dumb question, but the Any% Major Glitches category in my opinion should be divided into 2 sub categories. The first is the quicker EMU exclusive method, which involves a diagonal clip into the woods and a Kakariko Village cave near the Tempered Sword. The second is the slower method, saving and quitting after hopping off a ledge in Hyrule Castle. I've seen plenty of runs at both methods and it seems unfair that someone using one skilled method that is a couple minutes slower cannot get World Record. Again this could be implausible, I think the simplest method is dividing categories by platform like the Super Mario 64 or Super Smash Bros. pages. I just think the runners deserve some justice.

Any% EG is exactly what it is though. It's simply true any% where you beat the game as fast as you possibly can using anything. If people know how to clip into Kakariko to get that 1 minute time, then those people have the full-on advantage. The ledge jump s+q route is the more older stuff before we found the Kakariko clip.

But the any% EG Kakariko clip is EMU exclusive. That is my main conflict. If there was a subcategory that divided EMU and SNES then I would be satisfied.

There are (to my knowledge) no clips that are emulator exclusive. If you look at Xelna's Any% EG run, it uses the same route as the WR run, but Xelna's run is on console.

The clips being done in Any% can be easier to do on emu, but it’s not an exclusive glitch like Screevo said.

And something being easier doesn’t warrant a category split, especially for a short, silly category like Any% EG
