As some of you know, today was my last day as a moderator for the Alien: Isolation speedrun leaderboard. Due to real life time constraints, it is no longer possible for me to devote the same energy and effort toward the game and this great community. Although it is bittersweet for me to move on, the past five and a half years have been truly remarkable. What began as a shared dream of simply beating the game in under three hours has been more than achieved, including (among many examples) improvements to the Any% route that reduced the total run duration by more than two hours.

This evolution was only possible through thousands of hours of collective effort, elevating the game to heights we never could have contemplated when we started our journey. It has been a privilege to have been part of that journey, and particularly to have met so many amazing people along the way. Thank you, Info, for your work as a mod over all of these years. Lots of decisions had to be made and lots of responsibility had to be taken to guide and maintain our community. I'm happy, you have taken it upon yourself to invest so much time and effort in our beloved freetime activity.
