These two are very different runs, while the first is way faster, the latter is way more fun in my opininon since you actually play the game.

I agree that a no gold category would be more fun. Even if few people actually request it, people that have top spots on the gold leaderboards will also try to get top spots in no gold leaderboards which means the leaderboards most likely wouldn't be empty.
I agree that the categories should be split (for both PC/PS4 and Mobile). I don't have a run submitted yet, but I just finished a run and am about to submit it, and I think that having that separation would be beneficial.
Are you guys thinking "No Gold" only, but allow the free Time Warps; or do you want No Gold, Time Warps, or Boosts of any kind?
Yeah I like the idea of having a no boost/gold run. I think it would prompt some more runs
