No Starworld is easier than All Castles, I'd say. So probably better than that if you're just starting out, though there's not a lot in it |

As far as I'm aware, there's no known consistent setup for it on Switch |

Technically speaking, it doesn't give you the secret exit; it always gives you the normal exit. It just so happens that in DGH the normal exit is the one that takes you to TSA. If memory serves, FGH is also backwards to what you'd typically expect |

Co-op categories tend to only be interesting if the route would split up for each player, like in 96 exit. In no starworld, the two players would just follow each other through the standard route and wouldn't be very different to a normal no starworld run |

Can't really offer an explanation without seeing a video of what happened unfortunately, but from your post I'm assuming you weren't recording |

It's less because it's arbitrary and more because the category is less than 1 level |

@xXJulianbrito_YTXx3xXJulianbrito_YTXx3 nah, it's just a frame-perfect trick. Only need to do one kind of jump tho |
Forum: Super Mario World Extra Categories Thread: New Category Suggestion Started by: drams_catdrams_cat |
> jumping off a switch in the switch palace for example It's specifically the switch palace switch. Jumping off of a normal P-Switch is referred to as a 'P-Switch jump' |

If pigeon is right, then that emulator should be fine. I've not heard much about it though so I'd recommend using one of the ones mentioned in Frieze's post (start of thread) if you can |

@xXJulianbrito_YTXx3xXJulianbrito_YTXx3 I always double-check the timing of runs. In your video you started your timer late and ended it early, so your submitted time was too low and I corrected it |

dude chill. You submitted your run yesterday, it'll get verified when it gets verified. Average wait-time on this site is 3 weeks, we tend to be slightly under that as for the links on my profile, they're an option so I felt like adding them |

wrt version differences, @Snieggers98Snieggers98 I'd recommend playing on emulator to use an NTSC version if you're planning on getting the JP version instead of using the PAL one on console. Emulator would introduce some input latency but strats would be the same, whereas the physics difference on PAL changes stuff way more (that's what I had to do myself until I got the JP cart) |

Runs will be verified when we get around to it; we go through them in roughly the order they're submitted. We've been getting a lot more submissions than usual lately (probably because of COVID), so there's going to be a longer wait time than usual. |

Yeah, you don't need to have an add-on |
Forum: Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World Thread: Frame rules in this version? Started by: Mingura666Mingura666 |
There are framerules, but not in the same way. Every frame counts for beating a level, but things like spinning your cape etc rely on framerules |
