the discord has come to a general consensus that the wall flicks are not glitches, so i followed that on speedrun.com as well

starting away from the middle is not against the rules, but yes depending on the map you will get a better time

I have a feeling that my run is no longer possible to beat. You run slower than it unless you spam reset in order to activate a new mechanic that gives extra speed the more you die, but it weakens every flame you collect and loses too much time to do in runs. My run is most likely too old to be beatable, as it has a massive advantage now.

There's a new update that introduces a tower in the hub world. reaching the top of it gives you a skin. The tower is very speedrun viable, so I want it to be a new category.

Level 6 already has a hio, and it has been done by humans. I don't go for it because it is too hard for me to do.

No. I usually chat with some pros in a discord server about tricks. That's how i keep doing new and exciting trickshots in runs. They got close, but ultimately could not achieve oasis 1 hio. Achieving oasis 1 hio would require a glitch beyond the Birdie strategy.

2,3,4,5 hio have already been done, 1 hio has already been confirmed impossible

No. what i mean is that the timer starting the moment you spawn in is intended, and it rewards players who can take shots fast. Removing it will not work.

Having to time by sprt is what killed mini golf. the igt is all powerful and defying it would destroy the boards.

Plus, the needing the fire precise shots fast is what makes it a speedrun. Get Good.
