Forum: Lethal League Blaze Thread: New Category Idea Started by: |
That sounds like a fun idea, I would rather not dilute the leaderboard by adding a "Misc" category header and having leaderboards for each playable character, but if anyone would like to try it and see how optimized/competitive that can be I'd be happy to add something like that |

Hey everyone, I've been over Elmo's ABC for GB and now I found this game and I'm looking forward to running it I have this tradition of making website resources if the game I'm running doesn't have them, so hopefully this can be helpfull to making the page prettier, |

Forum: Lethal League Blaze Thread: Skipping cutscene between matches (arcade) Started by: TobürTobür (edited: ) |
Hey everyone, Recently I've noticed how in several of my runs, I've been able to completely skip the scene in between each match When I run I mash escape and enter, and that seems to give inconsistent results. If anyone could confirm if they ever been able to do this, and if so any information about the occurrence could really help shave off a good minute off our runs, thank you, and good luck on future runs everyone. |

Hahahah, that's the best part of memeland games, putting effort into them makes it that much of a meme. I'm currently seeing what kind of patterns you get from each game, considering I got the exact same pattern as your run I imagine there musn't be that many to go through, What I imagine is that there are a table of different ones and all I need to do is see if there's a way to manipulate them by forcefully resetting the game. |

I recently got interested in this game, so I researched a bit and found a few things that can be improved https://www.speedrun.com/Elmos_ABCs/guide/4czal I'd like to know what you guys think, and if I should look into some other aspect of the run. thank you |

Forum: Resident Evil 5 (Steam) Thread: No audio? Started by: [Deleted user] |
There is a moderator's comment underneath the video explaining why, It was debated between moderators if the run was to be accepted and it was agreed that considering the runner's background the run was deemed legitimate. Also, less noticeable but non the less important, before the run was submitted the rules were not explicit regarding audio issues on submissions. They have since been updated. |
Forum: Resident Evil 5 (Steam) Thread: Aesthetic suggestion Started by: AuddyAuddy (edited: ) |
Heyo, thank you for your suggestion. We came to an agreement that it is unnecessary as the boards organizes the leaderboards by IGT, making the NG+ categories correctly organized; as well as it's more interesting to instantly see the differences in the most amount of information possible while looking at it. It's also to note that, if what was suggested was followed, it would discard a lot of labor from the moderators that verified the runs. In regards to the background image, I'm unsure if another moderator has fixed it, but when I looked in the settings the image was already set to "fit to screen". Thank you once more, have a good one. |

Hey there, thank you for placing this forum post so we can hear your concerns, I shall speak with the other moderators about the two details you've mentioned and reconfirm if the rules for the category reflect what I believe is the correct run verification process. The M92F gun not being picked up is certainly an issue The non tactical reset is fine since the category is timed through RTA like the New Game categories, where resets are allowed since they lose time to the overall run. Hopefully this doesn't discourage you to run the category since I'd also love to see more runners try it out. |
Forum: Resident Evil 5 (Steam) Thread: Question on rules "breaks can be taken between" Started by: c_wayne_gc_wayne_g (edited: ) |
segmented subchapters and full segmented runs both have a category of their own "breaks can be taken between (,,,)" is to allow runners to pause between chapters since in New Game+ categories the time is counted by IGT you are allowed to stop playing between chapters, though the recording, as stated, cannot have any section of it removed (or in other words, edited) if it is being submitted to the Singe Segment (or SS) category tl;dr answer: you can take a break, just record it if it's Single Segment |

Forum: Resident Evil 5 (Steam) Thread: AutoSplitter problems please help Started by: |
It's not mandatory to use the autosplitter for both NG or NG+ categories. If ultimately you're not able to use the script, please consider running without it, and either counting the sum of all the IGT shown after each subchapter, or leaving that work to the moderators that verify your run. Hope that maybe a solution is found. |
