If it's 4 rallies then I'd say all 4 are going to need to be completed in order for the run to be complete

No one has suggested nor was it thought of when the leaderboard was setup for this game, if someone can do a run of what it might look like then that would work in terms of what we need to set the rules for it etc.

From the sounds of it that sounds like beat a season as fast as possible (This wouldn't be too hard as you could keep entering events and then retiring from them in order for the season to be completed faster) which wouldn't exactly be a long category if I'm honest although this sounds pointless to me as there's no challenge to it whatsoever 😕

I'm also puzzled by this turn around, can anyone care to explain why this was overruled and what was the reason? As far as I can see the guy cheated and owned up and got banned as a result but to see it overturned for what was essentially a ban that couldn't really be overturned is ridiculous.

Thread: The reason for Time Without Loads.

Started by: Thebpg13Thebpg13

(edited: )

Hi,
So as some of you may see now we have a Time Without Loads section for runs, I should just say for the record: THIS SECTION IS FOR THE PC VERSION.

The reason for this is due to a difference in load times between some of us (Most notably between M0mdeck and the other runners with myself being one of them)

We have tried to fix the game on their end and nothing seems to work to give the same speeds as the rest of the runners (And Vice Versa) therefore to keep things as even as possible and to keep things equal we have decided to include Time Without Loads.

If you have any further queries regarding this change, feel free to put them down below.

Thread: Game running "weird"

Started by: M0mdeckM0mdeck

Yeah for my run I had the game run in full screen when I used to run it on Windows 7 and OBS could capture the separate in-game window so I had to have both the menu and in-game windows constantly showing but when I upgraded to W10 a weird thing happened which was that whenever I wanted to try and capture the in-game window it was like the computer had the mouse click constantly on so I just used Display Capture instead which makes it loads easier.

As for using the better framerate, unfortunately if you did a run with a framerate higher than 60 then that wouldn't be allowed (As far as I know you'd be the only person to run with framerate higher than 60FPS) so sorry about that.

It's weird how people have some problems with this game and others don't, really wish there was a proper fix for this but doubt there ever will be lol XD

I'd recommend running the game at 60FPS which is easily doable by setting your screen to 60Hz as this will fix any issues with the game however I don't know if it will fix all of the issues you mentioned. As for running the game in compatibility mode I'd recommend putting it into Windows 7 mode and running as Admin and see if that fixes some of the problems. The game by default has a maximum display setting of 1024x768 so anything higher than that isn't really doable.

Hope this helps.

Thread: Possible category for All Street Races?

Started by: Thebpg13Thebpg13

Hi there, so recently I've been looking at running this game however I can't help but feel there could be a category for the Street Races as well as the Wingsuit Races?

Personally I'd do it and think it would be a fast category to do (Easiest way of doing this would be via Keys to the City mode)

Thoughts?

If you wish to do so you can however in-game is added to your final time as is the RTA time as otherwise that would be unfair to other runners who don't do this.

3 laps is fine as that is the minimum distance you can select for races.

Apart from racing in bonnet cam and the fact it's in Championship mode I can't really see much difference, I don't race with any custom setups on that run I did so I've no idea.

So since the Any% is done from a fresh save file is there a chance we can do a NG+ category for the game too with all the cars unlocked? I'm not thinking right now, I mean in case someone does a run in the future could it be considered?

It might be due to me running the game in 1080p possibly I've no idea, I thought the game was supposed to look like that though?

Started by: lewisandsparklewisandspark

Hi there,
So in the last week I have done a run of F1 2014 and checked to see when the main moderator for the game was last online and it was 4 months ago so I don't think they are coming back to be a moderator of this game. I'd be happy to moderate this game myself as I'm already mod for a few of the F1 series of games such as F1 2012, 2013, 2019 and 2020.

Hi there,
So earlier this year I did a run of the Novice Championship and was wondering since there's a leaderboard for this game that you could maybe have a Championship% leaderboard with Novice/Intermediate and Pro as the Variable factors?

Run as proof of what I mean:

Thread: Timing for Any%

Started by: Thebpg13Thebpg13

Hi there, so recently I was watching the current WR for Any% and noticed that timing starts when you create a profile and was wondering why does it start there?

Surely it would make more sense to have the timer start when you either select the car in Career Mode (And show the difficulty you've chosen beforehand) or when you select Career Mode yourself?

Having it start when you have created a new profile seems a bit daft and I'd like some clarification for this if possible?

Looking forward to doing some runs of this real soon and can't wait to join the leaderboards! 😃
