Are there any rules on R4 cartridges such as EDGE? Do they run ds games accurately?

From what I understand you need to airstrafe in the jump into the pit while slowly turning left. You need to enter the top half of your portal so shoot it fairly late. I've only done it 3 or 4 times so more details might be helpful.

I found something that pauses the timer while you move! Only on the first level though. And im not entirely sure how i did it. Nothing in the rules says against it though and if it could be made consistent it would kill all of the current WR's.
I assume its something to do with the ad as the darkened out screen normally doesnt appear.

Can you explain how exactly this works? I've tried replicating it with no luck. Also how do you even open the console midgame lol mine always sticks to the title screen.

On a similar note to this thread, what is going on with the leaderboard? Why is my time above Mossy's and Whisk's above Tehninza? I would understand if the times reset once as that would be igt and then rta but it resets three times so I am confusion.
