Given I've never seen or heard of other, similar reports... it's almost certainly an issue on your end. And based around the idea that you're having dropped inputs... first thought would be a keyboard issue. Have you noticed similar dropped inputs when playing other games or using your keyboard in other situations? You could also try playing the game on a different site. Or via a different browser. To see if that might help? Might be some kind of intermittent lag spike, caused by who knows what on your computer. |

IMO, the game isn't competitive enough to where we should care about RTA timing. Also, my motivation to time runs RTA is non-existent. The IGT is "pretty close"; I do always do a rough check that the RTA length of a video is roughly the same as what the IGT result is... that nobody is using a big slowdown. |

it's a 12 year old web game. if you want to run it, that's great. if you want to talk about it, the discord exists. but don't be a dick like this. thanks. |

It's poorly designed, indeed. There is a small Discord logo on the right side of the main game block, right below "Following" |

Hey Rigle! In general, the Discord is the best place to have discussions like this. More folks have more eyeballs on it there. |

Because the hitbox on snapping is much larger on mobile web than on desktop. |

Hello! Just as an FYI, this was originally a mobile game, released in 2017 for both iOS and Android. However, the mobile versions are now currently only available as part of the GameClub subscription service. |

I think Squid has been trying to work on a setup for this in the Discord; your best bet would be to get in touch with him to discuss. |

We have stricter submission guidelines for more competitive times. The run you recently submitted, for example, has barely (or non) audible in-game music/sfx, which would be a problem for a sub-3 minute run. Feel free to join the Discord; we're happy to answer any questions you have about the game, runs, or submissions. |

You also need the bell in order to complete Garden honkless; the bell is used to make Willy hammer his thumb. Glitchless minimum honks is... 4? You also need at least 1 honk glitchless in order beat High St, because of the combination tasks of locking Timmy in the phonebooth + getting on TV. We avoid this honk, again, by doing High St during the bell return, so the TV Shop owner is out of their shop, giving access w/o a honk. |

Forum: Snappy Maps Thread: Why the new rules and rejection of year old runs that do not follow new rules? Started by: |
I'm sorry that happened in your stream. I don't think we have a community, though, given the overall inactivity in the game and the lack of runners. Sounds like one person being an asshole for no reason. |

Forum: Snappy Maps Thread: Why the new rules and rejection of year old runs that do not follow new rules? Started by: |
There were a handful of runs removed across Snappy Maps. The maximum number of incorrects is not arbitrary; it's based around 80% correct, which is still quite generous. I had to reject old runs, because grandfathering them would be unfair. The reason for the rule change is to force skill and knowledge of the maps into the game. As it stood, you could get every country wrong, yet still get a good time, because of how the game works. If you wish to discuss the changes, please join the Discord. I put a call out, asking if anyone had issues with changing the rules, before making the change. |

I don't have the mobile version, so I'm not sure. Are you able to list the differences, or show video, so I can take a look? Worst case, we'll create a different leaderboard for Mobile. So, definitely allowed in one capacity or another. Hello! |
