I am trying to see if there is a good ps2 emulator to do some testing on for Clock Tower 3. Currently emus are banned, but I am trying to see if there is a way we can make an emu tab to allow more people to be able to play the game. I need to test load time consistencies as there is no in game timer. I know of pcsx2, but I hear it is easy to do speed hacks with it so it wouldn't be the best to use. Does anyone know of any ps2 emus that are similar to bizhawk?

PS2 emulation for the most part isn't consistent. As far as I know, there is no such PS2 emulator that is as far along in development as PCSX2, which I wouldn't really say is suitable for speedruns, personally.

PCSX2's goal isn't really based on accuracy in terms of loads, and it isn't really designed for speedrunning. More casual play. If there's a separate tab it doesn't really matter and emulation can just be contained within that tab, but you're still going to find a amount of inconsistencies between the settings and versions of PCSX2 that different people use which means accurate and fair trackings in the tab are going to be all over the place unless there's some kind of stricter ruling on that stuff.

There is nothing stopping you from creating a google docs form for speedrunning clocktower on emulator.
