I know there are a lot of threads just like this one, but I still have not found a suitable game for me.

I really enjoy platformers,Jump'n'Run games and collectathons.
I already played SM64 16 Star and when I achieve a time sub 20 minutes, then I'll probably switch to 70 Star.
I like games that are not as glitch-heavy, because why run the game, when you don't see most of it.
I would enjoy playing a game with fluid movement like SM64 and that is not longer than 1 hour.

I have looked into A Hat in Time and it is pretty interesting and I enjoy the runs overall, but to really dive into it, I want to wait for the DLC to be released.

So I am looking for a game with similar mechanics and similar pace. If you have any suggestions let me know, because I want to climb up the leaderboards quickly.

Other 3D mario games perhaps, or other 3D platformers?

Honestly just play games casually until you find one that you like enough to speedrun. At least that's how I do it

Since your interested in SM64, maybe ROM Hacks would be something too? Here you find all of them: https://www.speedrun.com/sm64romhacks

Glitches can make a 2-hour game go down to 1 hour. Just sayin'.

DeadCore might be worth a look, there's a glitchless category and the movement is pretty fluid, but incredibly fast

The contradiction here is wonderful.

I recommend checking out Jak & Daxter, Legend of Kay, and Shinobi, all on PS2. There are actually a lot of good options on that system if you have access to it.

I understand you didn't list this type of game in your preferred types, but I always strongly suggest Resident Evil 2 on any platform it's on. The glitches/timesaves aren't so massive they skip entire sections (in fact, you still play every area), yet they still provide the satisfaction of performing special tricks normal "casual" gamers don't know, and the Leon A scenario is easy to learn and memorize. And if you want less than one hour, the PC and GCN versions offer that. The movement, while not necessarily "fluid" like Mario64 is still beautiful in it's own way, and in time you'll feel accomplished getting Leon and Claire to do whatever you want, whenever you want. Consider this game, really.

It's an Xbox / PC game, but I think it has more or less what you described. Fastest Any% times are just short of an hour; 100% is 2.5 to 3.

Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2 or PS3. Most run the PS3 version and it's a little different from the PS2 version. It's a super fun/hard boss rush game that has movement sections that are like platforming. A lot of AI manipulation and unintended (and glitchless) strats.

Nekuia. A speed-focused 2D platforming game .

Just look at it. The game's music even gets more intense the more you speed up!
