Do the time challenges count towards 100%? Even if not, I don't like calling this "100%", rather I'd call this "all secrets" instead.

What about all the time challenges spread around the city? Do they have to be beaten to complete the game 100?

I made one back in 2018, but it's not something that is worth putting on the leaderboards.

PC has been the most dominant and competitive version since at least 2019. The top players have either always played PC or switched versions once they felt comfortable enough.

Make PC great again.

Thread: Handling Long Speedruns

Started by: Patrick_BarrettPatrick_Barrett

Preparing time for the run is the hard part for me. Once I'm past early game, I can fully commit to the run until the end, no breaks. I have a glass of water beside me, which I drink during loading times. Of course, I'm totally exhausted by the end of the run, but I recover from that pretty easily.
As for the run itself, I do it without notes. I have the whole thing memorized and if I miss something, notes will not help much to figure out what I'm missing. The run started at ~5:30 hours, now it's under 5 hours.

Setting the crop in the first place+the fact that I don't place the game in the exact same pixles with every launch.
Unless I'm missing something

Admittedly, it works, but it's impractical for me to use.

There's a game called Little Fighter 2 that OBS does't detect. "Game Capture" doesn't recognize the game at all and "Window Capture" only records a still frame of the game.
This game only runs in window mode and doesn't have video/resolution options. I'm able to record other games that I forced into window mode - they're originally full-screen games with video/resolution options.

I suspect this issue started when I added a second monitor that's connected directly to the CPU. I can't plug it into the GPU right now, so I wonder, what can I do in the meantime?

I played this game on my Win98 machine. The game has always ran at 60FPS and Zurg as always acted like that. It has nothing to do with modern hardware.
(Modern hardware is what's causing the glitched textures/graphics in some places)

^That's the PSP/PS2 version.
Did not make a page for the DS version because no one ran it. I'll create a page for it, but I'd rather you posting a run before.

I had a similar problem. It's not entirely the same, but the bottom line is, I also had dropped frames/stuttering issues. Hopefully this will help.
In the output tab, I set it to this: [Preset: Performance | Profile: Baseline]
I changes these variables to this: [Preset: Quality | Profile: High]
These settings solved the issue for me.

Good to know I'm not the only one. It's worth to note that this happens whether the game runs at full screen or windowed mode.
Guess the only option is to wait for an update that fixes this.

Once again, the streams page shows streams that were over for hours.

On the "Streams" page, it displays streams that are over even after hours from when they're over.
Edit: it's fixed.

Yes, only game capture. Other things show up immediately.

I'm afraid none of your suggestion helped to solve the issue.

In OBS Studio, whenever I launch a game, it takes OBS a few seconds before it's displayed in the preview screen/recording. This is not an issue in OBS Classic at all, as it records everything from the get-go. Audio is recorded fine in both versions.

Any idea how to fix this?

Edit: more info:
• I use game capture as source. Doesn't matter if I run the game in full screen or windowed mode.
• Window capture doesn't work at all for games. I think that this could be a workaround, but I'd rather not resort to that because I'd have to give up on the resolution I get from game capture.
• I have the latest version of OBS and I run it as administrator.

Thread: Is it allowed to run the game with the retrieved music?

Started by: ShtrudelShtrudel

Since the game is already supposed to read files that are missing from the CD, All I did was simply to insert the missing files into the ISO.

I don't see any reason why runs with the missing music (or any other music) won't be accepted, but I'm asking just in case.

(Ignore the fact that I put the wrong music in the credits)
