So it has been brought to my attention that people want to have a "Star Fox Block" at an upcoming GDQ. I am all for this idea, we just need some communication and cooperation. First thing we have to decide on is, do we want to shoot for AGDQ (Jan. 3-10) or SGDQ (usually end of July). Both have their perks but we need runners, and which ever GDQ we decide on will most likely come down to which one people can get to and/or not interfere with their schedule. Once we decide on this we will have to pick the games we want to premeir, and choose what percents, difficulties, if its a race or not, or maybe we do some goofy type of run. This stuff needs to be prepared before we start requesting anything from GDQ, because (trust me) they don't care much about Star Fox but I am 100% sure we can get our games in if we honestly want to. I tried doing this years ago 😛 but yeah I would be up for it. For me it would have to be on the weekend. I am super rusty and would need to put some weekends in to get back but it would be super fun.

bombs, lazer charges? not sure what pausing could do with that. I think you are thinking of it in a weird way. We have a pretty tight community. I don't think we are going to have some tard come and abuse it. I feel like we have a level of trust with our like 6 active runners.

Yeah I was thinking about that Jimmie, but I think it is pretty easy to see if they are using pausing inappropriately. Even if it does mess with the IGT (which I don't think it does) we would be able to see. People will pause like you said on Fichina and after cutscenes and the beginning of levels when they are mashing.

Do we know anything about this or how this could be used in lets say mission 9 to speed things up? I am very curious why it only works on JP. I only know that SigNa (of course) and Zewing have a copy but if there is a lead to optimizing mission 9 I would be all in for picking up a copy. This said I am hungry to find some optimization with levels such as mission 7 and working with the rail shooters. If anyone is interested just contact me.

I think it would be good to have IGT to be more of a "must" for top ranking times but along with real time. The faster IGT determines who gets the better ranking if it comes down to it. but I think both should be provided just so it doesn't affect new people and old runs.

When I tried to edit my profile theme it keeps going back to my original background and foreground no matter the picture I use.

I am having a problem clipping through the wall, I am doing the same angles but just cant go through. Is there anything to suggest?

This is my dream game to run, but I don't want to be running a game for 5-6 hours. I want to help find glitches that can make this game 1-2 hours but dont know where to start.

I will be looking into this more, this is so awesome that you found this! The next thing would be skipping the Auto scroller levels on 4 and 7.
