Give jellysquid mods a shot it might improve your fps, with all of them I get 150 fps on a potato laptop. If not, just hope they add the category or do runs privately for yourself. Hope this helps

use sethbling's data pack he has nether portal building as well as many other things that would help you on a speedrun.

this rule was implemented recently so runs previous to that were verified with Optifine but now expect them to be rejected if you use Optifine.

@Zruler6Zruler6 I believe he's saying that to prevent getting 1/3ed from the villagers go into creative and get 1/3ed twice in a row to prevent it from happening on a good run. I don't think this is how RNG works. It may work sometimes but it's not something to rely on.
