If you have the game in physical format, it goes to the console category (GC and wii respectively). If you talk about digital, that goes to emulator. Both are in the same leaderboard, but Wii is way faster |

Forum: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Thread: New GC Emulator: Dolphin Ishiiruka Started by: RebeccaRERebeccaRE (edited: ) |
Hi there! I'm making this thread because I want to let you know that Zener with SenhorX, discovered a much better GameCube emulator than the one we currently use (nintendont - Dolphin 5.0) and has more stability in loads and use of controller with good response. In this link everything is already configured, but if you have any problem, do not hesitate to contact Zener or me. The name of the emulator is Dolphin Ishiiruka: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uyqJvlrqEITH0UdMEzp40pNYDKxhLixK/view this should go in the emulator's documents folder. If you have an AMD processor, you should change the graphics engine to Vulkan Thanks for your time! |

People used epsxe back in the days. If you have a better sugestion about a stable emulator, we can make some changes in the rules. We accept most of the psx/emu runs because there's nothing weird during the gameplay, but we know some emulators may have small differences. GC/emu is a good example where dolphin has smooth loads. |

Light mode on the main leaderboard is not a bad idea imo. I just hope there are no future dramas for that. I'll talk with Wolf since he's mod in category extensions. |

Never played N64 emulator before, but if there's a huge difference, it would be better separating emu from console. We did that in some Resident Evil Leaderboards because there's a lot of difference in load times. |

Forum: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Thread: PyramidABCDEF" Japanese version of GLT voting is over” Started by: [Deleted user] |
If you want that, make a vote together with the japanese runners. They are the ones who are currently playing that version more than TWN and that's why their opinions are important. From what I have seen you are the only one who agrees, but the majority of jpn runners don't want to know anything about the tool. |

Forum: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Thread: GL Tool Voting Results and Future activities for the rules Started by: RebeccaRERebeccaRE (edited: ) |
Hey everyone! It's very important to mention that all votes are from RE3 runners only. This is the result for GL tool: Total votes: 52 Before putting this on the leaderboards, we're considering using filters for runners who use GL tool. We would like to know your opinions about this, this will be discussed in the RE3 discord, once is totally decided, it will be added to the new set of rules in a better way for all the runners. Link - https://discord.gg/Ng9Gzk Meanwhile, please don't submit any runs using this tool, because it will be rejected inmediately. Thank you so much for the community for being very participative |

No problem! @silentkastersilentkaster, we opened this thread because is always good seeing every opinion of active runners in favor to make better decisions in the future than only making decision between mods. Maybe we gonna keep the game without any external changes, but I wanna make that decision with opinions of current PC runners. |

@silentkastersilentkaster I'm not saying is an argument, I'm just saying I understand that some people say "GL RNG is annoying". You know I'm a console runner and I have to deal with more bad luck than pc, but I'm just trying to listen the PC runners and talking peacefully. |

It's ok. I saw like 30+ runs in one day and sometimes is pretty hard to know if there's people cheating or using turbo, especially with 4 players runs and a lot of categories. |

Yesterday I tried a new category called "Nemesis% Starter Weapons Only". It's like Nemesis% but using M92F and knife. I didn't put "M92F only" because I used the knife in waste disposal fight (using pistol in that part is painful because of the aim). This run is gargabe but it was a first attempt: |
