Changes are coming to the rules!

• As of now your video run MUST include the main menu before entering the elevator.

• From now on, the "daily submission buffer" will disapear, as there are no longer new maps coming to the rotation.

• You are now forced to show your game's version throughout the entirety of the run.

• In addition to showing the game's version, any run that is played on the beta version of the game will result in an immediate rejection.

About mods:

The moderation team have been discussing about mods from the start of this speedrunning community. Obviously, it's no surprise that some mods aren't allowed, such as flying mods, clipping mods, or anything that could alter the game or let the rest of the competition in a big disadvantage. We are aware that some runners have been using flying mods to go faster to the Gate Kiosk and we are currently reviewing them.

We want to make sure that everyone understand that if any mods other than those allowed in the rules are used, it will be an instant rejection, 0 negociation.

The current authorized mods are :

• MorePeak

• BepInExPack PEAK

• And the new ones are FrontDesk and Peak Unbound.

Speedrun page changes

• The Glitchless category has been removed. The No Major Glitch category will take its place.

• The Random Seed category has been removed. All the runs in that category will be transferred in the Set Seed category.

• The "Daily" annotation for seeds has been removed. It will now be replaced with the level the player runs.

Hello fellow runners!

After recieving some feedbacks, the mod team decided to add a few rules that hopefully will change the way you run the game and some clarification :

• Added rules for co-op runs on Set Seed, Random Seed and Daily.

If you run Set Seed/Random Seed on the Duo, Trio or Full Squad category, any players at any point are not allowed to die (transform into a skeleton).

Death are allowed if you run Daily on the Duo, Trio or Full Squad category.

• Added rule for music in runs.

Music during runs is allowed. However, try to only record the game sound if possible, without the music. If you can't or let the music in your run, make sure it doesn't have any sort of profanity, discrimination or hate speech, as this will instantly result in a rejection.

You read that right fellow speedrunners, we are removing the Difficulty variable from the leaderboard... or should I say relocating it. We have decided to move the Difficulty variable to the Category Extension !

This has been done because there were too many possible runs on the leaderboard (around 1300+) and felt like it would've fit the Category Extension better.

Note that the difficulties that will me moved to the Category Extension are Ascent 1 to 7, so we are keeping Tenderfoot and PEAK for the main one.

But wait, what about the runs i've submitted on the leaderboard ? Are they just gone ?

Absolutely not! But if you want to keep them, here's what you'll need to do :

• Once the Category Extension will be open, simply submit your run again,
• Make sure to put the same time as it was on the main leaderboard to avoid us from retiming it!
