The TJ&E Leaderboard is getting more and more runs as of the last few months and in my current situation I am unable to verify runs more than once maybe twice a week. If anyone's interested in becoming a mod please reply to this thread.

Rules:

Must have a run submitted on the leaderboard prior to becoming mod
Not allowed to Verify your own runs, only other peoples
Any changes to the leaderboard theme, game settings etc must be confirmed with me first

Hello! Quick disclaimer, this is certainly not a complaint and appologise for my spelling as I'm using a mobile to type this xD

Timing: First I'd like to suggest using the in-game timer as well if not completely override the use of real time as it completely cancels the argument of Emulator is faster blah blah (not to favour Emulator or anything. I myself run on console)

Categories: The current categories are great and all but there's so much more to the game then what's their. For example there is a harder Story Mode which features different enemies etc. Story Mode all difficulties would also be another good cetegories. As for stars which you unlock through playing I feel they hae potential for possible categories such as x2000 stars, although a stretch, may make for an interesting routing process who knows. Attack mode may be good for a category too, all Gold medals would be nice maybe :3 I'll speak more about attack mode in the next paragraph

Indevidual Levels: I feel Attack mode is the only potential this has, and using in-game time would be incredibly beneficial too :3

Variables: having a section for which character you chose would be a nice addition to the board, not as a category but as a variable when submitting a run^^

Appearance: the board could use some colour to it or at-least some/an image in the background would be nice^^

I honest don't mind helping if you don't feel like editing the leaderboard and perminant or limited time moderatorship is okay with me if help is needed for editing :3

I used to be the moderator of this game for a month or two and only just noticed some runs go up on the front page. When did this game get new owners and has everything I did to the old leaderboard been deleted? Like the theme etc.

Just to let anyone who wants to run a certain quest know that yes all quests will be added but since there's hundreds of them this will take some time. I will be adding them in order from Village 1¤ - 6¤, Guild 1¤ - DLC and then last but not least the arena quests.

If you've done any runs whilst the quest isn't on this leaderboard yet, keep hold of the video and/or image for when it does get added.

Hello, here I will post some basic things you need to know about before submitting any kind of run for this game.

Full-game runs will require video proof and must show the credits in the video. The in-game time is an optional extra if you wish to add it as it may be slightly off. When submitting a run for these categories, make sure you choose the correct amount of players and list the players who are in the run. The all village key quests run can be done in any order, you could start with Arzuros if you wanted and end it with slay 10 maccau.

Indevidual level (Quest) speedruns don't need video proof but i'd appreciate it if you did. Potato cam and bad quality is okay as long as the quest time is visable. If you're a trusted MH player and/or runner then I will gladly accept a screenshot or picture of the quest information menu screen, Not the one at the end of the quest in the rewards but the one that shows you the quest name, reward, amount of deaths, sub quest and your completed time. Do not rely on submitting images only as video gives more proof that it's actually you. If you're submitting a video, you must show yourself departing on the quest. If you don't have a capture card then don;t worry as I will accept webcam recorded runs.

I think I covered the basics, if there's any questions you have then feel free to ask me.

Helpful tip: I'm un-sure as of right now, I yet to test but using Miiverse might be a good way to screenshot your times!^^

Edit: Miiverse is perfect fopr uploading screenshots, you can download them by signing in on any PC on the Miiverse post.

Edit: Imgur is probably the best way to submit the Image. Download from Miiverse then upload to imgur. Place the imgur link into the video link section

I've been interested in moderating Mario kart Wii (And the others too but not as serious) for a while and have been playing it for a very long time as well. Am known in the community (Especial to those that visit Toms stream or that watched the Diamond marathon as I ran the game in that. I'm very good with watching runs and honestly enjoy it as much as I do running the game itself and feel this would help for any and all submissions to this game and even the series as a whole if required. I'm no amazing runner but am interested in becoming a moderator. No worries if you choose to ignore this or say no I'm just letting you know i'm very interested and willing to do my best^^

I feel IL's would be perfect for this game, especially for those wanting to learn and practice the game but not ready for a full run yet or even just general practice for those that are doing full runs :3

1¤ would be a stupid category, I'm not trying to get stupid cetegories added at all. Get to Cha-Cha is a genuine category and I've seen a few people running it. The idea of having gathering hall as a category is a genuinly good idea for a cetegory too in my oppinion, for example doing all of Low rank, High rank or G-Rank in order or seperate imo is a good idea for a category but I don't think it should be online as that would make it unfair. Another good idea for a category would be all Village quests for most of the MH games or possibly all Monsters. I just feel like there's so much potential for new categories. Mh4u did have Gathering hall categories closer to when it was released but for some reason they were removed.

I noticed that some of the games are missing a few categories and also could benefit by having some new ones added, for example in Monster Hunter tri/3U it doesn't have the Get Cha-Cha category, and for 4U their isn't any Guild Hall Low Rank etc. I feel as if the segmented categories aren't really necessary either so possibly they could be moved to Miscellanious?

I was wondering if I could be a Moderator of the series? if not then atleast Tri, 3U and 4U as i feel I could benefit the series by adding new and old interesting categories and as I'm a graphic artist would love to create artwork for the leaderboards such as icons for placement, speedrun.com banners etc.
I just feel like the speedrunning community for this game could be bigger than it is and maybe some more appealing astetics and more categories could really bring it out more, make it more interesting. I myself haven't even attempted a run of these games yet (I do run Dynamic hunting but that's hardly a proper game xD) but have extensive knowledge as I've played for a very long time and most of my life.

I really think the MH speedrunning leaderboards/community could really benefit from an upgrade in categories and astetics :3 Let me know what you think

I'm currently learning this game btw so i'm not a complete stranger to it xD I played it a lot as a kid and really wanted to put some time into it and have been learning for a good few weeks nearly ready to do my first run :3!

Could Indevidual Levels be a thing? Not like each level, but all levels for a world and end splits after defeating the boss for that world :3
