I know that the Don 1 strat hasn't changed in a long time, but I found out that if you punch don in the gut on the flamingo dance after his knockdon, you get a star. This may be faster then the old strat, though I'm not sure until somebody verifies it

I wonder if it's possible to wrong warp out of the great plateau (ex. Entering a shrine, exiting during the Ganon cutscene) This would change speed runs forever
