I already knew that. That's why I pointed it out as mentioned in the post that if people are on about this, then it'd be under Misc.

I'm going to shoot my shot at this even if I'm going to get many disapprovals at this. Is there anyone who is oppose to the idea of a new category called No Secret Levels?

Warpless in every NSMB game has always been defined as beating the game without using a warp to skip worlds, thus going through the game using the game's natural route. This means no cannons across all NSMB games up until this game. This makes Warpless the middle category across the series. However, this game has no defined "warp". However, when I messed around with arbitrary meme categories of this game years ago and did my own run that would be considered "Warpless", I didn't allow any secret levels, Worlds 1-5-Secrets because those levels will lead you to different worlds and skip large portions of the game. I allowed 6-6 and 8-4 (secret exits of 6-Tower and 8-1) because by the game, they are not considered secret levels. The only significant difference in this category is that the game's intended route allows you to skip 1 world, which is either World 3 or 4.

Our current middle category for this game is All Castles, which is beating every castle, including BOTH Worlds 3 and 4. It doesn't ban secret levels as we care about getting to every world, which means in our current route, we do a secret level to skip a level that is otherwise part of the game's intended route. So would that be considered "Warpless" at that point?

I've always like the idea of Warpless across all the games and I've especially like the idea of an "all worlds" category to showcase a package of what the game has to offer. And I know what I'm proposing is a meme because it wouldn't differ much from our current middle category but if people do approve of this, then I want to suggest this under "misc." unless it gets competitive later in the future.

Hello. We currently aren't accepting any new mods as we don't get as much submitted runs as some of the popular games and our current mods are active enough to keep up with the submissions.

Hello. As some of you know, YouTube is going to private videos from before 2017 that are marked unlisted, starting on July 23. If any one of you have runs that are unlisted and are uploaded before 2017, then either

- Op out of the change
- Change the video share settings to public
- Re-upload the video as an unlisted video and resubmit your video link.

This is important as we could potentially lose old runs, especially "maybe" old world records.

No Secret Exits is impossible because in the natural route of the game, a secret exit is required to go through World 5. 1 Secret Exit on the other hand, maybe? I guess the way I see it would be a longer version of Warpless (which isn't currently on the boards) where you spend a longer time in Worlds 5, 6, 7 and potentially 8. If you and a few other people can do a run of this then it could be considered on the boards. Otherwise, a new category isn't going to be considered without at least a few runs.

@Lombre914Lombre914 Warpless is kind of a meme. The way a "warp" is defined in this game are the secret levels (Worlds 1-5-Secret). Because of this, it differentiate much from All Castles due to subtracting one world and doing 5-Airship.

Mario 64 as a whole doesn't use very many glitches. The glitches used are small clips here and there as well as the major skips that Daidkupe mentioned. A "Glitchless" run wouldn't be that much different than the runs you see.

Well milliseconds is added. So there's no more to discuss about it now. Thank you all for your feedback.

I'm fine with it. We'd just have to retime the tied runs.

I originally proposed milliseconds when Stache tied Ewaller's record in NSLU but the proposal ended up being rejected for the reason that the game itself isn't competitive enough to make it worth adding milliseconds.

Looking at all 4 parts, there's nothing missing in between. So this is acceptable.

Any% Multiplayer is whenever some people have done runs of it. I will warn that I have come close to removing the boards entirely with how many people keep bringing up about Boost Mode.

Hello. Something that's never talked about when making the IL rules is Baby Yoshi. Should Baby Yoshi be allowed for IL runs? I looked over recent submission videos where they make clever usage of Baby Yoshi to either do skips or get star coins. But I want your opinion on this. Should Baby Yoshi be allowed for ILs?

No, but he's always big. So it defeats the purpose of a Small Luigi category.

Using Nabbit kind of defeats the purpose of Low%. Low% in Mario games is "Small Mario" and Nabbit is always big.

Thread: Low% as a misc category?

Started by: Hammyslam69Hammyslam69

Low% (Small Luigi) has been discussed multiple times in the past. The category itself would be significantly longer than Any% due to not being able to access 1-2 Secret or 2-4 Secret to get to World 5. Additionally, not enough people have gauged any interest in trying it out at all. There are many other complications with allowing it on the boards but these are the main reasons why it hasn't been considered at all.

We have enough mods as there is for this game. This game's popularity is very small so there doesn't need to be many mods. Also to be a mod, you have to be well known in the community and contribute to the community as far as strats, routing, discussion, and many more.
